I plan on going to tanyard fisheries in early April to fish course pool 3. I'm leaving 1 rod out for carp and one rod for float fishing. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips to help me catch carp, bream, big roach, tench and perch on course pool 3. Any information would be greatly appreciated. And as a random question does anybody know if Tanyards will be closed at all during April
-Thanks

Try fishing with one rod instead of being silly and using two with different styles.
Tanyard like most commercials is easy.
Find the depth, fish just on or just off bottom, sweetcorn as a bait will do fine and be sure to feed loose samples in little and often ( every 5 minutes or so like clockwork.
Tanyard isn't a challenge to angling ability. Once you get bored with the ease of it all try somewhere .like the Sussex Ouse where you need to be far more adept.

If I were you I would go with 2 rods for carp. Use a 15ml bright pop up on a choddy over the weedy/shaggy spot likely to be a chuck over the other side there. You will attract tench, bream and hopefully the carp. Then I would use a balanced bottom bait and chuck it down your margain in the silt with a light lead. Few freebies round both snares and fish for a bite at a time.
