Do you reallly think any one gives a fu.ck what happens to Greece?? It was their own fault that they greedily acepted to euro, while being completely inept at even collecting tax revenues???

Germany has poorly protected workers hence their abillity to outperform the Greeks ( you say) but nonetheless they don`t work very hard and retire early. Uhuh... I am not sure that the answer for a country whose main problem is an inablity to get anyone to lend to them at all is to make it harder for Banks to lend to anyone by ratcheting up the security requirement to do so. The rates they have to pay, are their main problem, the extent of their deficit is not so much worse than ours.
That debtors are ruled by their creditors is a fact of life. That Greece is an international trading country whose GDP and tax base are remote is also a fact of Greece .It may be your opinion that by pursuing shipping magnates the exchequer will suddenly over flow but I seriously doubt it.
I do like the suggestion that Economies should be under democratic control . The GreenParty polled less than the BNP at the last election so we are probably safe from the dogs on string anti capitalist bourgeois layabouts for a while yet.
