Many of my friends live in period cottages or flats on a main road with no front garden. Opening front room windows exposes a resident (even with carefully controlled visitors) to the exhalations of all and sundry, including puffing joggers.
Yes, perhaps low risks. But as I keep saying, why take any risk which can be avoided?
