Is there an electrical shop in Lewes where I can buy new filaments for a Dualit toaster?

Steamer Trading on School Hill certainly sell the toasters themselves, and if they don't have the elements in stock I'm sure they'd order them for you.

We bought some new filaments for our Dualit toaster. Fitted them, it still doesn't work. All the bits are now in the garage and we toast with our Grill !! Does that help ?

I've never liked Dualit toasters. I know a few people with one and in my experience they make very inconsistent toast, more often than not with one side done much more than the other. The best toaster I ever had cost £6 from the Index catalogue back when I was at Uni. It was completely lethal, the outside got as hot as the inside, but it made perfect toast every time. I've got a Tesco value one ow which does a pretty good job and probably cost me less than spare bits for a Dualit would.
