I absolutely love this kebab shop. Friendly staff including delivery drivers and the food is lovely for the price. What’s everyone else’s thoughts?

We have 2 kebab shops in this small town and neither are any good. I don't get how they can't put together a decent kebab when in Brighton there are literally dozens of good ones. A new business venture for someone perhaps.....Kebabs done properly

If it's such a no-brainer you should start one yourself? Although we all know that if someone did start a "decent" kebab shop you'd be amongst the first on here bleating about it being an organic DFL nonsense venture.

I disagree with DN. Both the chicken and the kofte kebabs at theCharcoal Grill are brilliant, as good as I've had since I lived inTurnpike Lane in the 1970s.
Not had a kebab from Efes, but did once make the mistake of trying their Southern fried chicken - the worst I've ever tasted.

You can literally watch them cook the meat then put in salad and sauces you want. What’s wrong with he kebab DN? Bad meat, limp salad? Never had an issue myself

@Maybe - I wouldn't moan, as there is no way on earth I would ever want that to happen mate. I want a proper traditional kebab, there is a brilliant one in heathfield, been there about 10 years and nothing changes it is always spot on.

Both Efes & Charcoal Grill are over priced overated dumps, when a resturant /takeaway has been in the town over 30 years and gets a one star rating then you know they are just taking the pi$$ Serving kebab in a wrap not a pitta bread purse is an even bigger pi$$ take,

Do you think a food business would survive over 30 years in the town if it was bad?
Learn some manners. Efes is excellent and I've been going there every fortnight for 20 years.
