Not very bright to advertise on here when someone is on holiday and not at their property. Sure Lewes lowlife will be very pleased to read it Little Bear

Hello everyone. I have reliable inside information that agrees entirely with Little Bear. Reeves will reopen at 9.00 on 28th February. Thanks Footymum for your concern. It's true that Reeves have been away on holiday, and they forgot to post holiday opening hours on their door, their answering machine or the internet. But they're back now and raring to go. Incidentally, the removal of the door handle is a custom dating back to the 1940s or beyond. A simple but strangely moving ceremony takes place every Saturday at 1.00p.m., and from then until the "reinstatement pageant" at 9.00 every Tuesday morning, the people of Lewes can - without charge - witness the hole where the door handle was. Makes the Tom Paine saga seem a bit tame. I believe there was a photographer called Blagrove. Also Bliss, Bedford and many others. But Reeves prevailed!!!!

Reeves have indeed outlasted their competitors.
