Tuesday night this week, around 12 sheds were broken into. Not much taken although an expensive strimmer was nicked from one shed. Lot's of damage caused by the yobs breaking off the padlocks or breaking windows.
In one shed, the words "Joe Stonell was here" was written. If anyone has any info, please let the Police know....a couple of other names keep cropping up.....James and Tom (surnames witheld at the moment)
We'll get them, police or no police. Meanwhile, if you have an allotment, stay safe

Delightful isn't he.
Further to this, about 5 sheds were broken into last night again but this time, a £400 rotorvator was taken.
It was loaded into a vehicle on the Ringmer road.
Keep em peeled guys

How are you going to keep watch on an area that remote ? . There is only one use for a padlock on a shed - It keeps an honest man out

Absolutely nothing that can be done, Peelers apart from sticking a 10 foot perimeter fence and gates up. Won't bother locking anything in future...if they want it, they can have it !!!!

We have an allotment up there, and shed, but don't keep anything valuable there. In fact we once found someone had put a new garden fork in our shed - very mysterious, no note or anything!
