On evening of 5th November while in a big crowd around the war memorial, 3 lads (I guess 15 - 17 yrs) took a key and sniffed something off it. Momentarily their eyes watered and then they started pushing and shoving the people around them. I guess it wasn't snuff?
Just now, I overheard a conversation between 2 girls on their way to College. They were talking about a friend who is feeling low - One of the girls said "it would help if she stopped doing the coke". I guess she wasn't talking about the drink?

On the evening of 5th November, I saw literally hundreds of people that had consumed too much alcohol. Their eyes watered for many hours, they were loud, staggered around the crowds bumping into women and old people.
The revelry continued into the wee small hours and I do believe a large number of them were responsible for the bangs that were heard throughout the night.
Just now I heard a conversation between several work colleagues all talking about how "hammered" they intend to get tomorrow night. I guess they weren't talking DIY!

On the evening of 5th November I saw hundreds of people carrying torches - that were on fire! They were loud, some of them were banging drums, and some were dropping sparks everywhere. I guess they were responsible for the smoldering embers left lying all along the curbs?
This went on from 5pm till about midnight and later in some parts, they were getting quite animated by this point. I heard some of them talking about getting fired up - I guess they weren't talking about pyrotechnics!

On the evening of the 5th November I saw lots of people dropping rookies and crackers in the street. When they went off they stumbled out of their way and their eyes watered from the smoke. I'm guess this isn't legal?
Just now I overheard a conversation between 2 girls on their way to college. They were talking about a friend whose hearing wasn't great. One of the girls said "it would help if she stopped dropping rooks". I guess she wasn't talking about birds?
