'30,000 excess deaths in 2015 linked to cuts in health and social care'
RESEARCHPOLICY
Researchers exploring why there has been a substantial increase in mortality in England and Wales in 2015 conclude that failures in the health and social care system linked to disinvestment are likely to be the main cause. (University of Oxford)

Doctors say 40,000 deaths a year linked to air pollution
Details
Date: 23 February 2016
A landmark report from the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has set out the dangerous impact air pollution is having on the UK's health – with around 40,000 deaths a year linked to air pollution. Every breath we take: the lifelong impact of air pollution presents that the harm from air pollution is not only linked to short-term episodes but is also a long-term problem with lifelong implications. (Royal College of Physicians).
The government tried to hide their woefully inadequate response under election purdah rules.
Britons are dying because of the Tories - not in dribs and drabs but in their thousands and tens of thousands. Most of these death were avoidable if those in power were competent and not actually evil. if you vote for them, knowing what you now know, then you will bear a responsibility of the thosands of more deaths. Ian Brady killed five children; he is rightly called a monster. Just what are you? It isn't OK to vote Tory. It isn't a valid option for any decent human being. It is our absolute moral duty to get rid of them.

Tomm, if you don't want to vote for any, that's a principled choice. Vote and write "None of the above" on the ballot paper to show you mean it. Me, I'll vote for Kelly to get Maria out. BTW I should not have brought in Brady, inappropriate, apologies. The argument stands, otherwise. A Tory vote is not a moral choice, or a safe one - because you, or your loved ones, may among the future bodycount.
