A few more local jobs is always good but a chain fast food shop & a messier run down precinct area s not inspiring.
I am not a Dominoes fan so will probably only use it once or twice a year max.

How will the precinct be messier? I would have thought one less boarded up/empty shop would have been welcomed.

Some people are never happy. It will provide jobs. A different option of food and fill an empty shop which will encourage others to buy into the area.

Rather than patronising a chain, how about supporting a properly local business? Some friends and I ordered from Pizza Pronto recently and they were really nice. (I am not connected in any way to the business - I'd just rather see Lewes enterprise rewarded)

Life must be really difficult for you SQ. buying everything from independent local shops. Never daring to cross the threshold of an evil 'chain'. But then people like you can afford to do this.

It must be so hard bearing this heavy load of prejudice. Let me help you out:
Dominos typical price for a 10 slice pizza: £16.00
Presto's typical price for a 12 slice pizza: £8.75
That chip on your shoulder will eventually cause a bad case of scoliosis. Do see your GP when you can.

Hiring now (well, still hiring yesterday, anyway). Probably free pizza too.
It is a chain, but runs through local franchisees. But, as SQ says, pizzas are not cheap.

But no-one pays full price at Dominos due to their many special offers. They even offer 50% discount to the Army!

Pizza Pronto pizzas are pretty awesome, I'd agree with SQ on that one. Dominos are ok but you generally get a better deal by going to pick it up rather than having it delivered.

I have been getting Domino leaflets in my junk mail for years. But they won't deliver to my BN8 address from Uckfield. How daft is that?
Now they are in Ringmer I probably won't get any more leaflets...
