Three guys in a scruff white van turned up at my place along Moor Lane, nr Glyndebourne. Claimed they were looking for scrap but trespassing. I just wanted to let people know they are around. Didn't seem quite right if you know what I mean!

I work in Moor Lane, I live in Lewes. The dodgy geezers were trespassing on private property. Is that clear now ?

I see.
In your OP you said they turned up at your place in Moor Lane, which is a very wealthy lane.
