Just had a takeaway from the curry cottage. It was really good, very polite staff, free beer, outstanding food. Looking forward to playing pool in the summer.

Free Beer?
Not that drink alcohol, but an Indian Restaurant in Lewes offering free beer sounds very odd to me.

Just a simple request. I am a fairly new resident.
Can someone explain where this place is?
The website shows it at the top of East St. on the right.
The menu that came through my letterbox only mentions
Offham Road, which has no commercial properties at all.
Thank you.

Why can't people praise or complement a shop/ service without getting accused of being the shop etc. Its getting annoying. Accept it mayor some people are just nice.

When you start a new business there are always a few hickups. We had a take out Friday and it was lovely and will be back again. Good luck to them.

Thank you to the two respondents who answered my request.
The website is totally wrong with it's location, by a good couple of miles.
Love the 'thumbs down' votes, by the way.

Do websites normally publish their location and distance from your computer or is this something new?

Had a takeaway on Saturday. It took a while, and I'm sure they were having a few teething problems having only been open a few days, but they were very busy which I guess can only be good for a new restaurant. The food was good, no better or worse than either Shanaz or Spice Merchant, and I got a free bottle of wine. To Celine, the menu is not the same as the Shanaz, and I didn't recognise any of the staff from the Shanaz either (although to be honest, can't see what difference it would make)

Look, I'm not looking for a fight with 'I Don't Believe It'
BUT, go on their website, and look at the location map, which
shows them to be located at the top of East Street!
I can see how some people get sucked into allowing the Forum to dominate their lives.
I can't even believe I'm wasting my time typing this.
Just keep the 'thumbs down' coming.
Farewell for ever
