Lewes Priory Cricket Club welcomes new junior and senior players of all level, including beginners. Girls and women welcome too. LPCC has active teams with juniors of all ages playing regular competitive matches in the summer. We also have two senior teams with plenty of opportunities to play matches.
We are pleased to announce dates for our springtime junior indoor cricket school and senior nets. Further information is available on lewespriory.play-cricket.com and on twitter (@lewespriorycc).
Junior soft ball training starts Sunday 19th Feb at the Lewes Leisure centre from 3-4pm for under 9s (i.e. year 4 and under) and under 10s (year 5). Sessions run for 6 Sundays. 5 per session or 25 for all six sessions. Please just turn up at 3pm (nb NOT 2PM as previously advertised).
Junior hard ball training (i.e. u11s, u12s, u13s, u14s, u15s, u16s) will take place on Friday evenings (6-7pm) at the Sussex County Cricket Club Indoor school, Hove (see photo). This facility includes professional coaches and bowling machines. Sessions will run for six Fridays starting 24th February. Places must be booked in advance with us.
Senior indoor nets will take place on Fri 24th Feb - Fri 17 March 7-8pm (also at the Sussex CCC Indoor school). Again please book in advance with us (see website). After easter our training and matches move outdoors to our home ground at the Stanley Turner Ground, Kingston road, Lewes. Contact details available on website. New players very welcome...
