Anyone else enjoy the builders near Intersport (not suggesting they are in any way related to that business) using a concrete disk cutter today with no eye protection, no ear protection, so safe separated zone to ensure public safety and no damping down causing clouds of dust to float around the area I'm sure delighting all those trying to sit outside Bills and Le Magasin trying to enjoy a quiet coffee or lunch? And where were our wonderful local council Building Control department, or a PCSO to suggest that they may actually care to work. Safely - of course nowhere. Complete Cowboys who give credible builders a bad name.

Funny enough i saw them yesterday and actually thought the same. They spent at least 20 minutes giving it the "awight darlin" to any woman who walked past.

They're private sector so they are without fault. Honest workers trying to make a living without the nanny state interfering. Police and council workers are a waste of taxpeyers money so we don't need them.

I saw them yesterday too, one of them was using the disk cutter with a cigarette in his mouth, also the new pipes that have been laid are sitting proud, it was quite funny watch him try and work out how he could flatten the slabs down, eventually he just tipped a load of cement down and carried on laying the slabs the were just wobbling around on top of the pipe work.

Cowboy builders is spot on, they have caused Intersport nothing but misery. Corners cut, major internal flooding of Intersport causing roof tiles to fall in & over 2" of standing water at one point on their shop floor caused £1000's worth of damage. How they have got away with such shoddy practices no one knows. I believe there are flats going in upstairs, good luck whoever buys them!
