I read somewhere recently that County Hall is the 'uglist bulding in Lewes.' Do you agree? and Why?
If it was an empty buuilding what would you do with it?

it is a bland, boring exmple of all things bad in British architeture from whatever period it was erected - I would turn it into a Disneyquest stylee inter-active, virtual-reality electronic gaming adventurers paradise - or an indoor antique shop and hairdressers emporium thus freeing up three-quarters of the towns shops to allow thm to be converted into over-priced, luxury starter homes - each with no car parking and no consideration for the town's infrastruvtue - doctors, dentists, school places, public transport etc.

I certainly feel that County Hall is one of the ugliest buikdings in Lewes, but there are some laughable buildings that have been erected in Lewes in the last few years (Grange Road, St Johns, Baxters etc)
"If it was an empty building?" - I'd arrange for it to be demolished and something more appropriate built in it's place - whether that be housing or commercial, as long as the replacement building blends in with surrounding buildings. Mind you - aren't ESCC planning to abandon it in the future?
