Compost - where?

We always keep suitable kitchen waste for composting, though we have no garden of our own. Lately, our usual compost beneficiary has sadly departed this world and the garden is closed: so where in Lewes could our compost go now? Any thoughts? The recycling centre beyond the Dripping Pan takes "garden waste" but that's not quite what we have.
