Have I missed something, can some one explain.
I am waiting at the bus stop by Tesco this morning, for a Bus to take me to Ringmer. A Compass Travel Bus comes to the Bus Stop. The sign informs me on the Bus - Lewes Ringmer. I board the Bus and ask for a Ticket to Ringmer. The Driver of the Bus informs me that he is not going to Ringmer. I reply but the sign on the Bus informed me that you are going to Ringmer, is your sign incorrect. The Bus Driver informs me that the sign is not incorrect - The sign is informing you of where the Bus has been.
I may be missing something but I do believe most people who are getting on the Bus are going going to a specific destination and will be more interested in where the bus is travelling too, not where it has come from.
Please, Please, can someone explain how do you know where the Compass Travel Bus's are going too?

Are you confident it didn't say Ringmer - Lewes ?

I`m fairly sure that it did have a destination sign on the bus. Perhaps "Lewes via Glynde & Ringmer"?

It's always funny at Lewes Station when they announce that the train to London Victoria just coming in is 'the train from Ore' or 'the train from Eastbourne'.

Clifford, that could be useful if you are meeting someone.

I'm sure it could be Jim - if the person arriving hadn't told you what time their train was coming. 'What time will you get to Lewes?' 'I don't know, but even though I'm coming from Polegate they'll announce it as the train from Ore.'

The sign on the bus definitely said Lewes Ringmer.

Snorkeling and scuba diving offer unique ways to explore the underwater world, each with its own advantages. Snorkeling is a simpler, more accessible option, perfect for enjoying marine life near the surface. In contrast, scuba diving allows for deeper exploration, requiring training and equipment. This blog clearly explains the key differences, helping readers choose the best option for their adventure.
