Will the Cliffe industrial estate still be accessible from the A27 (the back way in, not via the A26) during the lockdown on Bonfire Night?
The map provided by the LDC (see link) doesn't show that back road as being closed off at all, but they also say "A temporary taxi rank for Lewes district taxi companies will operate from the Cliffe industrial estate from 10pm onwards." What's to stop someone from walking there at say 9:30pm to get picked up by a taxi which has come in the back way?

Yes, I was wondering that too. I imagine that it will be a major drop off and pick up point for a few thousand people if the road is open! Not that it matters to me.......

It will be closed before and during all processions. Absolutely no access possible due to road block that will be policed like the others. I wouldn't want to argue with armed police.
