I'm sorry to moan about an otherwise great bonfire night, but did anyone experience the baffling setup on Cliffe Bridge last night. The rest of the road was pretty quiet, but by refusing to let people cross Cliffe Bridge on the pavement they manage to create a crush. The awful young steward with the megaphone was causing much tension amoungst the crowd. A change up for next year is needed.

The busy little oik tried to tell me I couldn't cross the bridge too. So I said "very well" and crossed anyway. Still here to tell the tale.
