Clegg is gagging for a new coalition with the Conservatives, but his dastardly plans may well be scuppered, as he will in all likelihood lose his seat.I for one will be celebrating on Thursday if it happens.Hubris can be so sweet don`t you think?

That was exactly my conclusion after watching the debate last week. Gagging for more Tory-Lib coalition. He sounded like Tory-lite all through it. At the last election he was more Labour-Lite. He even trotted out the "Labour caused the world-wide banking crisis" narrative. The Liberals didn't used to be that way. They used to have a bit of moral high ground - the clever and rational people's party. I suppose he's just spent too much time canoodling with those folk.

Sorry had to correct the thread title
Lose is correct
'loose his seat' could be taken to mean something else altogether

it was a typo ,but in retrospect it`s also probably just as descriptive of his situation as the word lose.
