Goodbye, good riddance and all that.
But does anybody else think it strange that for all of the criticism of Clarkson's Scrappy Do approach to his own failure to get to a restaurant on time there's been very little discussion of his latest outburst of xenophobia?
He allegedly called his producer a "lazy Irish c***". Isn't this as unacceptable as his nursery rhyme and... um... comments on civil engineering standards in Burma?

What JC did may have been wrong- But for a hotel hosting the gravy train of the BBC, why not just send out for a steak and chips for one of their mega customers?
It's a classic repeat of the Fawlty Towers episode where an American couple arrive after "kitchen closed" and Basil has to pay the chef to stay on.

We just don't get any customer service in the uk really, it always ends up with shouting and nothing gained , and back to the OP , maybe the guy is lazy , and maybe he is Irish so that bit is factual , he probably wasn't the other bit , but as meatloaf said 2 out of 3 ain't bad

Clarkson rubs people up the wrong way-there's no doubt about that. But whether he is a xenophobe or simply a contrarian is another matter. He says the 'unacceptable' but can get away with it through his wit.
