At this time, around 52 years ago I was so excited knowing it was only a few hours to go until Christmas Day, and as a 7 year old back then, I was totally unaware that was going to wake up to my very first electric Hornby Train set. Wherever you are, I never really appreciated how you must have really scrimped and saved to afford that set, so thanks Mum. I've never, and never will, forget the joy I had playing with that train set on Christmas morning.
