Newman and Burtenshaw (Reece) cut my 2 year old boy's hair and I was very pleased with it despite being a little more expensive than most other child cuts.

I can recommend Ella's at Laughton. She does women's, men's and children's. (She does my godsons hair and they are 3 and their cuts are lovely). Free and easy parking. Very reasonable. Well worth the little drive.

There's a lady near Leicester Rd who does great cuts. Several friends get their hair done with her and she does kids as well. Not a posh salon. Can anyone on the forum remember her name/ details?
