The snowdrop is so dog friendly they used to do bar snacks for dogs. Not sure if still on the menu.

The John Harvey seems to welcome well behaved dogs (and children).

Try the Lewes Arms, though you will have to be a dfl and your kids will have to have VERY silly names to fit in.

Tally ho does food but is not known for it. They accept dogs and kids. Might be worth checking with Huw in the Elly too

lo, thanks for the mention. Yes we allow dogs and children in (although if it is busy we do ask that parents/owners consider the welfare of their charges) and serve food every lunchtime 12-2.30, evening meals available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Sunday lunches, and full menu, are available from 12-4pm.
I think most pubs in Lewes allow dogs and children in, some may have time restrictions or only allow them in certain areas.

If you're venturing a bit further, the Royal Oak in Barcombe is worth a trip and both kid and dog friendly.

Definitely worth a visit - Royal Oak Barcombe - they actually advertise muddy boots, dogs and children welcome. Great tasty food too.
