Im sending my child to secondary school soon and was wondering wether chailey or priory was the better school. We can get to school easily for both schools so transport is not a problem. Thanks

Chailey!
At least their students don't think they run the town, as well as with their attitudes towards a protest!!!
At least in Chailey all the will upset is a couple of farmers should they get out!
Priory is like a pre-school for prison

Don't know a lot about Chailey so can't comment too much although you never really hear much about it so that can't be a bad thing.
My daughter goes to Priory and she's very happy there. probably the best thing to do is go and look round both and also look at their ofsted reports.
Or you can listen to bigoted opinions from people like that clown above.
Good luck

My daughter doesn't go to either school however when we were chosing a secondary school in the area the deciding factor was visiting the potential schools.
As a parent, I thought we would opt for the secondary school with the better OFSTED report, however after visiting potential schools we opted for the school where my daughter felt comfortable, confident and enjoyed visiting. She hadnt thought she'd like to go that school but left really wanting to attend. The other school we went to visit, which was our first visit, was a completely different experience for both of us.
Visits can really help in the decision making process.

I don't know much about Chailey although we visited it several years ago when it seemed OK but we all preferred the look of Priory at the time. My daughter is just finishing at Priory this summer. She likes it there and is doing well and about to go across the road to SDC. My son finished there 2 summers ago, he liked it too and he is about to go to uni. So we have no regrets at all. The only thing I have heard about Chailey is from one of my sons mates who went there and he thought it was, and I quote, "cr@p". But I wouldn't read too much into that.
