Not much from our MP in her latest. Sounds like she has been busy stopping greenfield development, building the firle to polegate path and there's a picture of her with a clipboard, dealing with an infestation of flies in some of the local villages. Someone's got to count them.
She is also keen to get our views on who the next prime minister should be. "At a time when the cost of living continues to rise because of inflation and we face the ongoing conflict in Ukraine it is important as choose the best possible person so let me know what you think." Presumably before we had the inflation and war in Ukraine it didn't matter so much. It might explain her support for Johnson.

You can rely on Caulfield for pretty much the worst possible takes on anything.

This is what she has voted for in Parliament, folks (see link). Its quite remarkable how many times she has voted regressively on our behalf.

I would tell her the next PM should be Kier Starmer. Just to see her reaction.

Apparently she is supporting sunak. Private eye has interesting take on him. Says in his election video that 'family is everything to me'. That is his non Dom wife of course for whom he lovingly provides tax breaks while raising tax for everyone else. They also question how much he loved his country while running a Cayman Island hedge fund to avoid paying tax in Britain.

Perhaps Katie Price would be a good choice as she has plenty of front and gets away with many alleged misdemeanours. I would recommend Chris Eubank as her backup if she ever needed one. The Party would still be the same I think!

Katie Price would be a good substitute for the deputy leader of the Labour party.
Meanwhile Maria Caulfield, our elected MP, is doing much work for the regeneration of Newhaven, and the eventual upgrade of the A27 towards Polegate. I don't think she is anyway involved in the massive multi-million pound white elephant cycle path along the same road.

She seemed very happy to tell us all about the cycle path in her newsletter of 16 July Sussex. Personally I'm all in favour of doing anything to help cyclists on that very dangerous bit of the A27.
