Can anybody recommend a very reasonable carpenter in Lewes?
First off.. I want him/her to rebuild my potting shed that the council mistakingly demolished. It was only small but it was nice, it let in a lot of light.
The council won't rebuild it so I have to, if I want a potting shed that is.
It had/has brick foundations up to waist height that are still intact, but the wooden superstructure, windows, door + frame and perspex roof have all gone.
As I'm physically challenged I need help with it.
I plan on replacing the kitchen sometime in the future with one that is a little more rustic.. But that's a plan/job for the future..
Any help in finding the right person for the job I would be most grateful.

Carpenter / builder / etc `extraodinaire is Mr P Kelly - he did my kitchen, renovated my house, and loads of other stuff - very clever, talented and nice bloke, but in demand obviously! Give him a bell 07853917644.

Thanks very much Amanda & Lewes Resident I'll be sure to give them a try and see what they say.
In the past it wouldn't have been a problem, a job that I would have been quite happy to do, being fairly good at practical things.. Alas no more I'm afraid..
Whilst quite young (43) I suffered from a seriuos 2nd Stroke that has left me with 'Right Sided Weakness' as they call it. So I can't use my right hand or arm properly etc.. It has been a real stumbling block in so many ways.
Thanks again for taking the time I appreciate it.

No problem JR, good luck - I'm sure either Mr Kelly or Mr Funnell will see you alright!

JR, if you don't get any luck with the two above, try Richard Dales for the work you want to get done. Heā??s done a lot of work for me and has high standards as well as being clean, tidy & honest.
Richard can be contacted on:

My Dad had a stroke and it left him unable to do a lot of the DIY stuff he used to do. He too found it extremely frustrating
