Can anyone point me in the direction of a local breakers yard that actually sells parts.
I’ve googled and all I can find is breakers that resell cars.

Definitely bridges, but ring them as its mail order these days (open to the public for 4 hours on a Saturday only).
Scrap parts are big business now that insurance companies can fit used parts.

Can't be particularly big business. They used to be all over the place including Lewes and Newhaven.

Yes at you also used to be able to work on a car without having to have £200 worth of obd2 diagnostics equipment.
Call bridges for a part cost, they'll tell you if they have it (as everything is broken down and sitting on shelves) and you're looking at 50% of new value. Or maybe take a trip up there and see how the yard has improved,
Then come back here and restate the claim that it's not big business.
