Has anyone else noticed the cameras that have appeared each side of Cooksbridge railway crossing? maybe they are to catch motorists dodging the gates. too much to hope they are to catch speeders, some drive at a frightening speed in this 30 limit!

hopefully it will catch the filthy scum that seem to target the village residents cars every year for their spares. I wonder what kind of people travel around at the same time every year? (maybe in their caravans). and yes hawths4 some people drive at MAD sppeds through the village.

Perhaps it will catch those cars who have been parking on the road recently by the Malthouse. They cause congestion when the crossing re-opens and the southbound traffic tries to pass the northbound still stationary queue.

Maybe the cameras will spot the parochial Cooksbridgers who scratch unrecognised cars who have the temerity to park on the public road outside their houses. Happened to three friends of mine over last year.
