If Lewes Council doesn't care a dam about whether their is a Bus Service to Old Malling Way runs or not.. Its only right that they pay for my Road TAX and I shall buy a car instead of relying on buses that never come, its like waiting for bloody Godo!

Buses are a county council matter, as are the roads. They were dreadful today, because of the extra traffic caused by the bypass closure.

I waited 25 minutes for a late bus to Brighton (I was 10mins early for it). Stood on the road waving the one that finally appeared, driver looked directly at me and carried on. A few choice words were used... spoilt my evening and cost me a bomb on the train.

I was on the 166 coming in from Plumpton the other day; just we were coming into Lewes the driver shouted up "Just to let you know, we're running late, so I'm driving straight into the town centre".

Well, I'm pleased to report that the Nevill bus was bang on time both into town and back again today!
However, while I was waiting for the bus to depart, I heard 2 bus drivers advising a third, who was running late and had missed his break, not to bother going into Newick as "no-one will be getting on there" but just to stop at the school and come back again.
They should disciplined for that sort of thing imo, a late bus is better than no bus.
