Surely the time has come to ban buses from going up School Hill / High Street Western Road. They constantly block the road causing awful jams.
It is hard enough negotiating my Range Rover around these narrow streets without these massive buses clogging up my path.
The final straw for me came yesterday afternoon when my daughter was 20 minutes late for pony club because a bus blocked the road outside the old post office.

Personally I think buses are good, they help slow the pace of life down around Lewis. No one wants our local roads like the A27. Thumbs up for slower traffic.

Worse still is LDC using what appear to be glorified 1960's milkfloats with a top speed of 5mph to pick up our recycling.
Surely there's better electric vehicles out there in this day and age.

I'm not sure what you're all complaining about. These bus drivers are always very welcoming. They've always told me to 'Hop On'

It's not buses that cause the problems it's the cars. Maybe we should ban cars from using the high street and from speeding in the clearly marked 20mph limit. And it's badly parked and illegally parked cars that cause most of the trouble. Them and the idiots that can't look further ahead than the car in front of them and block the road.

Nice try. And nothing to do at all with the Range Rovers with their blinkers on while driver had 'nipped' into a boutique (shopping bags are loading right?) blocking the bus....
In all seriousness, whoever is in charge of enforcing no loading in this area as they are doing a terrible job. I saw a bus have to go the wrong way round the statue as a van was parked blocking the way for about 25 mins.
