I assume you're a Gooner. If you were a proper fan you'd have tickets anyway. Why so desperate?

TDA - Quite correct, I am looking forward to it.
I have heard that there are Brighton fans trying to buy tickets from the Arsenal fans, offering ridiculous money for them. I would not advise that for whilst I think it very wrong mixing fans on such a high profile game is clearly not wise. I recall two Spurs supporters in the North stand of the old Highbury getting away with it until early in the second half Spurs scored and inevitably the fans jumped up in great excitement, sat down very quickly but too late, the cat was out of the bag. Stewards escorted them from the ground for their own safety.

Should be a good game. I spent many years following Arsenal but stopped going as tickets became way too expensive (cheaper going to Glyndebourne these days) Looking through my box of footly programmes I found a few gems: 1979 FA Cup Final v Man Utd, plus my ticket stub from the game which was £2. 50 for a standing ticket. BHA's frist game in the old 1st Division from Aug 1979.
BTW, if Lewes FC have lost a football I found one in Priory St, I'll throw it back over the wall later tonight :-)

Ticket - My brother has, among many others, a programme from the last game Man Utd played in England prior to the plane crash, against the Arsenal at Highbury, he was at the game I was not. Man Utd won by a single goal if my memory serves me well, 4/5 or 3/4 something like that.
I watched my first Highbury game in September of the 1945/46 season, first season after the war, my father was awaiting his demob papers.

Inoutinout... Took myself off the waiting list when season tickets became too expensive.
Plus I moved down here, and now prefer a pint and walk home from the Rooks tbh.

I went to a Brighton Arsenal FA Cup game at the Goldstone, ooh 20 years ago? We had to go in the Arsenal end because the North Stand sold out. That was back in the days when you didn't do that sort of thing lightly.
We did the same for a midweek Chelsea tie around the same time (which therefore must have been a league fixture?)

they are this morning selling another 500 tickets for this match as they have now completed the extra seating at the stadium . Tickets are on sale from 9.30am today but you have got to have a history of purchasing tickets in the past .

Hi I am looking to buy 2 tickets together for the game. My son's dad bought 2 tickets on-line for his birthday but found out yesterday it was a scam. He will pay up to £300 for two tickets sat together. If anyone wants to sell please let me know. I have a very disappointed 11 year old on my hands!!

300 ? Isn't that a bit much for a game of football? Doubling the face value is in my view already a bit over the top.
