Thanks for putting that up, SJ. it seems a rare but rather serious accident. I wonder what was the cause.

I read that the incident was caused by a traffic cone getting stuck in the tyre of one of the buses.

Mrs F - a Cone in one wheel stopping a bus? I don't think so, it wouldn't stop a car!
Maybe we should just wait and see what really happened rather than take stupid guesses. Some people have been seriously injured and we need to know what the cause was to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I believe they are looking into one of the bus drivers. Apparently he collapsed behind the wheel. They are suspecting a heart attack, but we will have to wait and see if this is the case.
I hope that all that were injured recover fully.

You're waiting ages for a bus and then two come along together.

It is suggesting that the driver reported to his supervisor he felt unwell. It is also reported that said supervisor told him to work. This has been supported by colleagues and the union. If this is true, and people die, this is corporate manslaughter.

If the allegations are true, they are very alarming.
Any employer pressurising people to work when they are unwell is bad, but when they do a job that affects the safety of the public, it is downright stupid and irresponsible.
