Any other irritated O2 users out there who've been signal-free for days? Any suggestions for alternative networks that don't seem to get lost as frequently?

I've used most networks over the years and found them all to be the same. O2 isn't great but seems better than most for where I live and work.

Noticed this myself (Pells area), only just started to improve. Just riding it out.

Never had any problems whatsoever with O2 signal. Customer services, as with most things, are terrible but no problems otherwise. Vodafone is the worst one I have ever had. No signal whatsoever in my house, had to hang outside the window.

Ive had the same trouble. O2 told me that no refund or credit would be allowed until there had been "otage" for 72 Hours and later when I said everything was going to voicemail and I could not retrieve it because there was no signal, their answer was that I should turn voicemail off!

Having gone through a number of mobiles (lost a few along the way) have decided in this area and indeed any Downland areas you are going to be better off using carrier pigeons. Good luck all, Best Peter and Boon-Nam :|

My O2 phone was playing up also, from here up to and including London.
Eventually I tried the sage IT advice of 'turn it off and on again'. Hey presto, all is good with the world of O2.
Don't know what the problem was to begin with, but it's all dandy now.
Till next time....
