Hello.
I have heard about an all night party at the phoenix theatre on bonfire night. I think they are selling tickets for it. Is this a legal party? I live nearby and I'm worried about all the people and trouble it will cause. Does anyone know anything about it?

There are parties there all the time, old chap. If you haven't been disturbed yet, you're unlikely to be this time. It's all well managed and organised.

Yes - whats the phoenix theatre - is it anything to do with Zu studios or the Cafe des Artistes on the industrial estate ?
Zu are advertising a fireworks night event on 3+4 Nov - check out their website

It's a completely separate unit, belle, on the opposite side from Zu. It's used for theatre, comedy and classes (Yoga etc) mainly - only a fairly regular basis - as well as band rehearsals etc. It can be hired out for parties. I'm pretty sure it's all properly licensed and legal.

I am informed that there is no license for this party on the 5th, but there are posters for it regardless.
I hope we don't have any disturbance on Monday.
