Sad news today about Bob Hoskins who locally.
A few years ago I was standing near the till at Steamer Trading waiting for my other half. I was playing with the an electric pepper grinder as was another chap, both us making piles and plies of ground pepper. We both looked up and laughed at each other like naughty children. The other chap was Bob Hoskins. Nice memory.

I met him a couple of times in pubs in the town, he even came to my old bosses funeral, he sat with us in the John Harvey chatting away like he was one of us. Really nice bloke.
