There's an interesting story in today's Mail on Sunday:

"Danny Alexander caused controversy in the Election campaign when he said a senior Tory Minister had said to him: ‘You look after the workers and we’ll look after the bosses.’ He refused to name the Minister.
In fact, it was Osborne – when he offered to give up plans to curb employment rights if we gave up our plans to curb corporate fraud. Danny later checked his records and found Osborne actually said: ‘You give up on bashing company directors, and we’ll give up on bashing the workers.’"

Has the ring of truth, even if it is David 'Housing benefit' Laws telling it.

There’s something quite extraordinary going on at The Mail these last couple of years, the Sunday and Daily editors regularly backbiting and rubbishing each other: Geordie Greig (MoS) is Lady Rotheremere’s favourite for Paul Dacre’s (DM) job when the latter finally deigns to retire from his elevated position as the main PR outlet for Tory HQ, and all the trappings that comes with. As he approaches his 70’s, there’s no sign of his going willingly, so it’s in his interest to undermine his likely replacement to stave that eventuality off.
This is just another opportunity for Geordie Greig to get one up on Paul Dacre who’s OsCam bum licking is grating even on his own staff, most now see in him nothing more than a tiresome has-been with a tired 70’s repertoire of ad hominem insults, a sort of Paul Newman with enough money and influence for the Tories to want to work with.
Reading between the lines, one can conclude Lady Rothermere isn’t a fan of Osbourne, while Dacre very pointedly is.
Nonetheless, this episode does indeed bear a ring of truth; Osbourne viewing business fraud as something that Conservative are there to champion, worker’s rights something for Labour to. It’s a rather succinct exposure of the Tory inclination for criminality and hatred for social mobility.
It’s a kind of psychopathy you can only learn at Eton, a lifetime of privilege and insulation from the plebs has rendered him entirely incapable of understanding or even recognising the average man’s moral compass. In much the same way an abused childhood legitimises child abuse, their brains just don’t work like yours and mine.
