Barcombe Football Club currently run two teams in the Mid Sussex Football League. We are currently looking to register new players for the coming season to strengthen both squads, particularly the first team. If you are male and over sixteen on the first of September and have a developing talent, or a an experienced player - up to County League standard, we would welcome you to join us. We train on Monday evenings from 6.30pm at Barcombe Recreation Ground, or call 01273 400601 for further details. We are interested in Club players who are prepared to commit to regular training, enter into a hectic social calendar, and assist maybe building public toilets etc in Zambia!

What's the average training session like? Is it all fitness work or do people actually get to play football? I've been to many training sessions where I never get to see a ball let alone kick it!

The session is one hour and a half and is split: Warm up, fitness, ball skills
in twos or small groups, set pieces, five a side football, and eleven a side, warm down. We have one ball between two, we expect players to have a certain level of fitness, but at the start of the season sometimes that's difficult. Why not call our coach Matt on 07793009335 for further details?
