A bag for life in a household is a constant reminder of the owners inevitable death. Every time I unload my shopping into the fridge I have to come to terms with man's great failure, the inevitability of the dark void, the abyss.
At least I know the rest of my life is covered for shopping but i just always thought there would be other bags, now I have to live with the fact my bag for life will find someone else after I'm gone. Disposable bags live in the moment, at least in terms of their attitude anyway after all they do take 3000 years to biodegrade.
