Anyone else had bad experiences with the people running Spring Barn Farm?

I hate it when people slag off a business on here. Could be a business rival or personal vendetta for all we know.

Had a dreadful meal there once. The food was dire and lukewarm, the place was freezing and the service was completely chaotic, despite them having our orders weeks in advance. That was years ago, and I haven't been back since.
I like to see their pigs as I drive past, though, they always make me smile.

People should stick to proper vetted review sites where you get a good balanced opinion of the place.

I haven't had a bad experience with the people running the farm as such, but I was frustrated to find that after paying the best part of 20 quid, half of the fields were empty and many enclosures were padlocked. I wouldn't have gone if I'd known. I think the place is overpriced, but it is conveniently close and the children seem to like it.

Its a great location with "Spring" perhaps being the operative word as we had a glorious day there approximately this time a few years ago. Yes, it's at the upper end of pricing for this type of thing but they are in business - dont forget they probably need to account for being sued once or twice a year when little Johnny gets nibbled by the goat.
I would say its in its in its infancy for this type of park and will get better, I think its an asset to the town. You didn't say what your bad experience was?

I think their prices are high for what they offer but I dont like how the management are telling the visitors what to do and not to do all the the time, really fustrating.

I guess they have to adhere to health and safety guidelines which are there to protect everybody .
