I've always been able to get onto the internet on my phone at home - no problems until now. Every time I try to get online I get a BT Fon Spot message wanting to charge me three quid for an hour or a fiver for a day - this happens even when I have my wireless router on. I don't use BT Broadband and don't want to - any suggestions how I get around this - its really starting to annoy me!

Look at your connection, then advanced settings (windows xp, not sure of other windows). You'll prob find BTFON there. Have you used a laptop at a wifi spot recently? Some of these are BTOpenzone (same as BTFon) and may still be in your connection list.
I've tried several times to use BTFon when on holiday and it never works even though their site says it should at that particular address.

Damn BT stuff. With an IPhone you need to go to wireless settings, locate the BT item and then select "Forget Network".. or something like that.
