I've been trying to find out for weeks why these lights have been out, there doesn't seem to be any official notification and there's no signage on the road. One day a TTL appeared, but then it went the same day.
I'm hoping they've been removed as the start of a scheme to build a proper junction with sliproads and a flyover (ditto for Southerham roundabout as well). I haven't seen any news about that either!

Slip roads? Flyover? You're kidding, there's no money even to repair potholes and in any case imagine the fuss about the great crested newts and spotted bats!

Its probably a trial to see if traffic flows better without them. I've also found it quite liberating not having the traffic lights, but can't say I've used it in the height of rush hour where it may cause more potential problems (and not seen if any incidents have been reported).

It can't be trial, there is no way they would risk the lives of the pedestrians who have to cross (I guess at least ~20 people get the bus each day). It's impossible to cross at peak hours without those lights.
