I've seen the occasional person do some tai chi in southover (?) gardens, but they dont open til 8:30 I think?
I wonder is there anywhere tranquil that people can reccommend that would be suitable for some earlier tai chi or meditation? I was thinking more like 6:30 am.
Thanks!
Dee.

The grass by Pells Pond? The areas outside the Linklater Pavilion or on the Railway Land? Under the trees opposite the castle bowling green? The path between Wiley's Bridge and Tesco? The Bell Lane park? Baxter's Field?

If you work on Friar's Walk, All Saints churchyard is practically on your doorstep. As others have said, The Convent Field, the Priory Ruins or the Mount are exceptionally tranquil at that time of day.

The garden behind the council building on school hill. Just off one of the twittens between Friars walk and School Hill - it's public space but not really used much.
