So how much does a football club cost, that is at the bottom of the league, has sacked its cup winning manager, lost the winning squad, does not have the required facilities for the league it is in, and is owned by a man who we hear is so desperate for money, his staff were having to use their own credit cards at a local building supplier?

What about the fans buying it via £35 shares like Ebbsfleet who are in the same division?

As a long term supporter I find all this infuriating. The club is not worth much because the Dripping Pan is held in trust, so ME will never get his hands on it. Any buyer of the club gets a to use the name Lewes FC and use of the Pan and that's about all. The new stands possibly belong to the club, but would cost a fortune to disassemble anyway.
There is a supporters trust being formed which hopes to help out by any way it can. There is a meeting on Monday night at the John Harvey Tavern 7.30pm. Ideas welcome.
