Well bonfire boys and belles only four sleeps to go before the town comes alive . Lets all have a safe and enjoyable night look out for each other and put all this bitterness behind us all !! Time to move on and focus on the future of bonfire ! Lets keep this tradition alive and kicking !

magical ? sleeps? is this a mumsnet forum!!
sorry but i dont really care for bonfire what with some elements of it, but i know its traditions and i think its more drunkenness and tar barrels then sparklers and magical. I think thats fair enough , why should everything be "for the children", its rough and its in your face its loud and politically incorrect i may disagree with it politically but it's good it exists, although i still lobby to change some elements of it, yes cliffe I mean you.

Padster, thank you. It's nice to hear from people who don't particularly like Bonfire but understand and support its existance. As a Cliffe member I'm sure I know what you mean and why, and I know you've heard the argument many times before so will spare you it again.
Have a safe and happy 5th, whatever you choose to do with it!
