Senior+ Contemporary Dance @ YMCA Lewes
With contemporary dance studied as part of the school curriculums, attending regular technique classes will aid the development of physical skills, choreography and performance in this art form.

Junior classes prepare students for tuition provided at secondary school whilst Senior/+ classes are excellent in assisting with GCSE and A’level dance grades. Classes include Graham, Cunningham and Release techniques, floor and travelling exercises as well as time to explore your own choreographic ideas with others. Grades 1-6 examinations with the NATD are also on offer to our contemporary dance students, as well as the opportunity to perform in multiple locations, including at The Chequer Mead Theatre as part of our Annual Dance Show!

Classes take place at Lewes YMCA from 5:30pm.
