Crowdfund Workshop

Are you looking to raise money for a community project or a new business idea? Crowdfunding may be a great option for you! There are two Crowdfunding workshops in East Sussex this November, where you can learn more about the support available when it comes to starting a Crowdfunding project and maximise fundraising opportunities.

Crowdfund East Sussex will be holding free workshops at Rowan Lounge, Battle on Thursday 14th November from 2pm 4pm and at the Lewes Council Chamber on Tuesday 19th November from 2pm 4pm.

The idea of raising money for a community project or a new business idea can be daunting, but Crowdfunding can help you to secure funds and engage with large audiences online.

Working with partners from across East Sussex, Crowdfunder helps local people and businesses not only raise vital funds, but also access expert advice and support throughout their fundraising journey.

Not only that, but if you are a local not-for-profit organisation and your project makes a real difference in your communities you may also be eligible for matched funding from the Building Stronger Communities Fund, up to 50% of your fund-raising target, or 2,500.

Whether you are a charity, small business, or want to help the community, crowdfunding may be an option for you! The workshops cover everything needed to start your project including:
What is crowdfunding and why should I do it?
How can Crowdfund East Sussex help?
What makes a good crowdfunding project?
Why do people pledge?
