I gather lewes live has been postponed until August due to the impending bad weather due this weekend
Will refunds be available as I'm away until September?

Not sure why someone would think it's been postponed. It hasn't been!
Despite the current showers the site is in great condition, and everything is on track for an amazing weekend

Lewes Live hasn't been cancelled and I'm really looking forward to it. It's a shame that idiots like to start silly rumours online like this.

Dear probably - there are no fireworks, so probably not then.
Dear Boggy - it's all a matter of taste. If you don't like it that's fine. Perhaps share with us what music you like so we can make a pointless remark about that too!
Dear Bogdan - sorry, not this year
Dear Local - I'm sure there are many worse things that you could imagine if you think just a little bit harder

Its a shame that not all events can appeal to all tastes, but at least Lewes is rich in a wide variety of arts, music, Theatre, etc. and it should be possible for everyone to find something they like.....hopefully without being detrimental to the bits you don't like.
Or is this forum evidence in places of that being wishful thinking??
Enjoy your weekend one and all!!

It would appear that there's a theme running through some of these posts that makes me suspect that it's raining and a bored teenager has been confined to their bedroom with nothing better to do than stir up a bit of mischief. I can't attend in person as I've promised to house -sit for a friend in Kent over the week-end but I do wish everybody who is going to this fine event a fantastic time and well done to the teams behind the scenes who flog their guts out to make things work as smoothly as possible who never get any recognition. Let's hope it's a great success.
