Friendly mixed ability class for Beginners/Imorovrs and Intermediates who want to enjoy an airy space and informed coaching. Process painting @ The Art Studio, 15 Malling Street
This is a therapeutic group for adults where personal issues can be acknowledged and explored in a safe and supportive way.

The process involves working with the unconscious through the medium of painting. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and explore in depth the themes that arise in their work with the intention of achieving catharsis and closure.

Experimental Drawing & Painting: 10 week course @ Paddock Art Studios
Enjoy exploring a range of experimental approaches to art through drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and mono-printing. Working from both observation and the imagination there will be guided exercises, an opportunity for individual projects and occasional collaborative work. This course is suitable for beginners as well more experienced artists and offers the opportunity to widen your creative expression, address creative ‘blocks’ and encourage more spontaneity and mindfulness in making art.

This group is for expectant mothers wishing to avoid stress and maintain a sense of wellbeing during their pregnancy. It also offers the opportunity to slow down and take time to acknowledge and connect with your baby.

Painting, poetry and drawing will be used as creative tools to aid the process.

Life Drawing: 10 week course @ Paddock Art Studios
A Natural and Expressive approach. Learn to understand and relate to the human form through gesture, contour, texture and tone using a variety of media. The classes will introduce you to a range of techniques and approaches – some more classical and some more experimental – encouraging good observational skills as well as creative expression. All abilities welcome.
