Joy of Movement - Holistic dance/movement for women of all ages, experience and fitness levels.




Joy of Movement is a gently guided class and combines simple, flowing and easy to follow dance and mindful movement for women of all ages, fitness levels and experience. Enjoy an hour of breathing, gentle stretching and simply guided, easy to follow movement to uplifting and inspiring music. Our class is low impact and we focus more on body sensation and feeling good than cardio fitness, though we do get fit in the process! Participants are guided to follow their own energy output. All classes end with mindful breathing and a meditative seated or lying down reflection time. We especially welcome people who haven't moved in a long time, or 'ever' in a class situation as we are a friendly, non judgemental group of ladies of a broad range of ages who just love to dance with no worries of 'getting it right'.
